Help with next gun purchase. Dan Wesson Guardian vs. Cbob

Of those who have had experience handling these two please let me know what you think of what is a better buy. I cannot carry yet as I live in IL which is why I am leaning towards the cbob but the cbob is an 09 model I and concerned with cast frame. Do cast frames have serious effects on the lifespan of the gun? what things should I consider.

Thanks everyone,

Getem

With proper maintenance, that DW will outlive you.

I like the C-BOB for concealment (and the BOB does feel comfortable on the range to me).

Here is my '09 CBOB in 10mm. If cast frames can hold up to 10mm, you shouldn't have any problems with .45. Lots of other manufacturers use cast frames as well. It will likely outlast you and your children as well.

I wish. There was only 100 of these made. That one is a single digit serial number. But I know where you can find another one for sale. Guy is asking $1400.

If i had 1400 dollars to spend i would be raiding my LGS

If I had $1400, I'd be buying that gun. LGS probably won't have anything like that. Owning 1 of 100 is pretty rare, but owning 2 of 100 is even better. Not to mention the value of DWs has gone through the roof in the past several years. But to each their own.
