DefaultHelp choose with me

Kimber custom II with 5 mags and a safari land holster I believe only shot 2 clips out so still fresh! Or a smith and Wesson 1911PD on 40 down the tube with houge grips and 1 mag?
Oh and the 5 mags that come with the kimber is McCormick mags?

Go with the smith. Kimbers are great mantle warriors.

Signing out, Alpha1victor.

I have no first hand experience but truth be told I have known a couple guys with Kimbers who bought them because they looked nice but they really weren't good performers. One had trouble going back into battery after firing and the other had issues with failure to extract... Even after two trips back to Kimber. I just feel S&W is probably a better built weapon.

Chad, I have a pet peeve. That is when people call magazines "clips". By doing so does not assist the new firearms users in identifying parts by the proper name.

I'll throw in my 2cents in. I have a Kimber pro carry II, love my Kimber. Now I know I have a 1 in 100 gun, I couldn't ask for a better shooting gun. Now I will say that no matter how great my Kimber is, I won't by another one. I have done to much research and know I won't get another Kimber as great as this one. Try the smith, or of you are spending around 800 get a STI spartan, awesome gun.

I would recommend the Smith and Wesson. What turns me away from Kimber, and I think the same thing does for others, is that all their firearms only have a one year warranty. Also the fact that their firearms command a high sum that is on par with Colt, but their firearms are more of a hit or miss whereas Colt's are always a hit.

Concur, our words are everything and should be used correctly.
