Default Happier than a pig in crap

Was in my lgs today and finally got rid of a less than stellar Taurus PT945 and in turn they placed me an order for a RIA 1911 Govt. Its gonna be my first 1911 and I cant wait to pick it up. I think I did fairly well today. What about you all?

Congrats! Love both my RIAs, and hope you will too. Sounds like you did just fine.

I thought so. I've heard many a good thing about RIA so I hope it functions as well as others I've seen.

you made a good trade! RIA pistols are very good pistols. they are priced decently too. i have one on order myself, a 1911 in 38 Super.

problem you will have after shooting it, you will want another 1911, then another, so on, and so on, ....... see where this is going?

Must be something in the water, I am expecting a RIA Tactical 9mm to arrive next week. I ordered some Tripp Cobra mags today also.

nope, nothing in the water! just that dreaded 1911 disease you catch when you buy or shoot the first one!
