Hammer follow to half cock when firing

Subject: My CZ-Dan Wesson, C-BOB, 10mm.
Problem: Sometimes hammer would go to half cock when shooting.
Replaced: Sear, Sear spring, Disconnector, Hammer.
Verified: sear and hammer mated correctly, and sear spring was not too light on sear.

Suspected: Weak recoil spring, allowing sear to "bounce" when shooting full power 10mm loads.

Remedy: Replaced recoil spring.

Never seen anything like it.

I had an STI .40 that developed this after many thousands of rounds. I gave it to Dave Dawson at Dawson Precision. He replaced the sear and set it up with a nice, crisp 3.75 lb trigger. Never had the problem again.
