That's a hell of a deal you got. I've seen BHPs in terrible condition selling for a heck of a lot more.

You got one hell-of-a good deal on that HP!

Here is a good deal on quality mags for your new purchase;

Mec-Gar Magazine Browning Hi-Power 9mm Luger 15-Round Steel Blue - MidwayUSA

15 + 1 flush mount mags by Mec-Gar. They run flawlessly in both my HP's.

Now just ditch the Goodyear grips and get some nice wood for her!

I've got a brand new pair (same as above ^) of coco bola's with new screws I can let you have for my cost. (~$40)

PM me if you are interested.

Canebrake, the pic you asked for. before and after! what ya think?

Lookin good.

Now...Is the mag safety still operational? If you so desire, neutering it might be the next step in your BHP awesomeness.

People often ask me, "How many ARs do you have?". Well, that seems to be in a constant state of flux. An honest and concise answer might be something like "six and five-eighths". And to the AR enthusiasts among us, that will make perfect sense.

This is what I used when I did mine.

Knock the two pins out (on & above trigger), remove disconnect, reassemble. Those pins are damn tight though.
