Davidson's (Gun Genie) is out of the 922, right when I wanted to buy one.
You can find more about the GSG guns here: http://www.americantactical.us/8/catalog.html

I own a GSG 1911...
Has been a very good gun. Other than that, what would you like to know?

Let me re-phrase that...
I own the GSG 1911 in .22 (you may be asking about one of their .45 versions).

I'm guessing you are buying this for plinkin', right?
If so, I'd go with the FS Government.
With that said you should take a look at the Colt/UMAREX 1911-22.
They sell three models, a Government 1911A1, Rail Gun and a Gold Cup.

I have the GSG and don't like the way it breaks down so I bought the Gold Cup.
It's worth the up-charge!

I have (2) GSG .22's sitting in my safe. Friends received them as gifts and they were both no better than a single shot. The will fire and eject but do not cycle far enough to strip a fresh round.
I'm thinking the ammo is just to weak to fully cycle the slide as bothe were cleaned and lubed before I tried them. I did put 300 rounds through 1 of them and it began to actually function but only if there were less than 5 rounds on the magazine...
Any suggestion on "hotter" .22 LR loads?
