Default Grips and my new Kimber
Well, I love 1911's. That's a given. I think wood/metal are perfect for them - not too keen on polymers.

Since I got my Pro Carry II and put custom wood grips on it, I knew I had to have some wood grips on my new stainless.

I got them from Home Page and absolutely love em. Here are a few pics of the grips and my new 5" stainless.

Less than 60 (each).

The guns are a different story.

Next pistol will likely be a Dan Wesson Commander Bobtail with grips by the same guy that did the ones on my Stainless.

There is one on the 1911 forum as well. That's where I found him. When I get a bobbed 1911, I'll be calling on him again. Also picked up a curio box for my wife along with the grips!
