I will be the first to admit that my grips may not be for everyone. I've been making grips for 5 years now and I'm right at 800 sets sold. My grips started out at $30, but as I progressed I started focusing more on finding those extra special pieces of wood. Making grips isn't difficult, so I had to find a way to set myself apart. Extremely high quality and unique pieces of wood is where I found my niche. Unfortunately, like rifle stocks, the higher the grade of wood the more expensive it gets.
But for 1911 grips, you can surely find something that fits your budget however big or small it is.
