G10 all the way. They're indestructible and most patterns are made to Bite into your hand and not let go.

I found that soft is relative.

If you have a nice set of wood grips, that fit like a glove, it feels better then any rubber grip.
I also was the opinion, that I must have a set of Paychmar signature oder american Legend grips on my Series 70, but then I slpapped on the Nill competition grips and I love them.
Very warm feeling, the texture is very nice and it just fits like a glove.
