Anytime you trade 2 glocks for a quality 1911 you come out on top

Some people here will tell you Kimber is over rated, but i couldn't be happier with mine. Congrats on the trade man.

It could have been better, you could have traded three.

Not over rated, just over priced and short warranted.

If one is lucky and gets a good working Kimber 1911 all is good, but many today are not so lucky. With Kimbers in such high demand their production is being pushed hard, to get new 1911s out the door. If there are problems then the Kimber Custom shop has to get the problems fixed. The good side of this if there is such a thing, is the high Kimber demand gives people like myself a great chance to get top dollar for my Kimbers on trades. Myself I feel today Colt is building really quality 1911s again, and I notice the demand for them is building up quickly. I just hope Colt does not lose sight of their quality as they try to ramp up for the demand.

I think it was a good trade, my cousin bought the kimber new and had it for a year, I have shot it several times and no malfunctions, now it's my everyday carry gun
