Default Got me a new (and my 1st) 1911!

What's up everyone, I picked up a brand new Springfield SS Loaded P19132LP (NM serial #) Friday after work and I absolutely love it! I didn't get a chance to shoot it until Sunday, but it was awesome, no problems, however, I only got to put 50 rounds through it but will shoot at least 150 - 200 this coming weekend. I was pleasantly surprised how smooth and accurate it was right out of the box (after a good cleaning and lube job of course!) I don't have a camera at the moment but will see if I can post a pic of it:

I will wait awhile and put some more rounds through her before I decide to do any upgrades, as of right now, I like her just as she is!

Welcome to the 1911 family.

Springfield is making a fine weapon these days and that weapon will treat you right if you take care of it.

Looking forward to seeing some real pictures soon!

JD
