Default Is this a good deal?

Ithica 1911 A1 .45 ACP WWII for 1200.00? I want it, but it doesn't seem practical for my first 1911.. lol

IF you are a serious collector of military 1911A1s, AND the gun is all original, AND in excellent condition- maybe.

That dates back to WW 2. IMHO, and my opinion only- the Ithacas were some of the worst of the military 45s.

If you are looking for a shooter, I feel you can do better for less.

defiantly can get something nicer for less. but I am also a fan on military weapons. Would defiantly prefer another brand, just didnt know if that was a diamond I should snag or not..

ok, i've owned another 1911, for about a week. When I said my first 1911 I meant the first one to be part of my collection. Got the Taurus for 300.00 to flip.. lol

I've got a 1944 Ithaca M1911A1 and wouldn't take $12,000 for it but that's just me.
