Default Good 1911 bobtail/fastback

Be been trying and trying to get a S&W 1911 Performance center carry for over a year now. Seems like I have a better chance of finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.

What are some other good options? Want a 4.25 barrel or less and must be bobtailed.

Ed Brown Kobra carry!!!

(But the Dan Wesson C-BOB will do in a pinch.)

Nice to look, much nicer to hold!
(I have one each)

I decided to make a trade for a Springer Loaded Champion SS. I'll pay CS to bobtail it. In geeked.

Kimber Super Carry look nice. But I'd go with the Sig if you like them. I'd strongly recommend the officer size frame with the 4" unless you simply must have that 9th round.

Not Bob, but nice to carry.
Just got it , havent even shot it yet, but been trying it out for carry around the house , very easy.

7+1 , 24 oz empty, night sights, 3.3" match grade barrel, great trigger, and after cleaning and inspection, oooozing with quality.

Sig Sauer 1911 Ultra compact, two tone.

Cant wait to shoot it.

24 oz is great for carry. I have an STI Escort and after a few minutes I forget I'm wearing it. On the other hand my EMP 40 is 33 oz and I don't like wearing it for more than a couple hours.
