With your budget you don't have to limit yourself to one. There are a lot of really nice 1911's out there in the $1,100.00 to $1,500.00 range. Many less than that. That way you can fill more than one craving! I've had that problem many times.

I got it!

I went with the Nighthawk GRP.

I'm glad I did. It is a DREAM to shoot. Flawless in every way.

And I also ordered a new holster for it that'll go on the Sam Browne

Haha. I'll try to do that; I'm going to Albuquerque for the weekend for our state VFW convention and then I'll be back shooting hopefully.
