Default God, I love my Kimber!

I went to the range yesterday with my Kimber Custom CDP II and an S&W 686. The S&W is fun to shoot but the Kimber is so damn accurate it even makes me look like some kind of marksman. I was shooting two inch holes in the target at 10 yards with no shots outside the circle using cheap target ammo. I have Cobra Mags so that's eight shots. The guy next to me said it was "scary." I was so proud.

Next time out I'm taking my Kimber Ultra TLE II. I don't think it shoots as good as the Custom but it's not a bad little gun.

Anyway, I've been away for awhile but I'm here to tell ya'll that bleak is back.

I'm glad you're happy with it. It sounds like a pretty good time too.

It was a blast (pun intended). Thanks!

Nice looking gun. I'm sure it'll shoot as good as it looks.

I know there are lots of folks who are down on Kimbers, but I have nothing bad to say about mine at all.... It is a Pre-series 2 Stainless Classic and it drives nails and eats anything I shove in it's mouth..... what more can you ask from a pistol?

Nice. What kind of mag is that?

Here are my two Kimbers. I'm too lazy to take good photos so the Blackberry will have to do...

Hummm. Personally I shoot much better with my S&W 686 than my Kimbers. Maybe it's the 6" barrel that makes it more accurate for me? My 686 plus with CT laser is my "get to a real gun" buddy

Damn sounded like an awesome range time. I'm almost as good as you, been shooting for 2 months now at age 23, first handgun ever and ended up with. 1911 of course ^^

@Dennis845
Nice 686. Sounds like it is super accurate with the laser plus 6" length. I was debating about getting a 6" but choose 4" instead. It's not like my 686 isn't accurate. When I really concentrated, it shot very accurately. Before I shot it, I was wondering if any sight adjustment would be necessary, but soon realized that the sights are perfect and it's the shooter (me) who needs adjusting. Perhaps there is a difference in shooting disciplines between a 1911 and a revolver. I'm just guessin' though.

@EMTChad
The 1911 was always my dream gun and now I freakin' have it. I'll bet you feel the same. No, it's not a Colt (sorry Mr. Canebrake) but I'm satisfied.

686 is just a great gun, that's why it's better than your Kimber. 357 mag is alot more pop.
