Default God I love my 1911

Its only an ATI and pretty much at the bottom of the food chain as far as 1911s go but man do I love it. It feels so good in my hand. The balance is like nothing I have felt before or since I bought it. It was only my second pistol so until I got a few more and got some experience shooting others I could not truly appreciate how nice it is. It goes bang every time and is accurate as all get out. I do have a .22 slide that I like ok, its not as well made as the .45 but it is nice to have another option.
I guess now I have to get into trigger jobs etch,
Only thing that I kinda don't like is that it is a little tough to get the slide back on when putting on the .45. I seem to have to fiddle with it for about 5 minutes. I see several more of these in my future.

i'm glad you like your ati.

I own a gsg (same company, more or less)(also, it's basically the sig 1911 in 22 cal) I have not had the best luck with mine.

I didn't expect it to be on par with my springers or kimber, but, it was not even close to that level.

not sure if it uses the same firing pin as mine, but, if so, I have a couple spares you are more than welcome to.

1911's can be addictive! in over twenty five years, i have owned more than thirty of them. a close friend introduced me to the 1911 in the late 1980's and i have been a fan ever since.

i own many other types of pistols that i like, but the 1911 platform is by far, my favorite pistol platform to own and shoot.

The 1911 is a timeless classic! I have 4 right now and would have 4 more if the right ones came up!

I just bought a 9mm Bersa but already have my eye in another 1911. I have the military model. Maybe I will get a GI this time. I ABSOLUTELY HAVE NO BUSINESS BUYING ANOTHER FIREARM FOR A LONG TIME. I can tell the seed is already planted.

3 Colts, 3 SA, 3 RIA, 3, MA, 1 Ruger, 1 GSG and want more. Won't buy anymore though for awhile as I'm getting custom work done now instead of buying more 1911's. Hasn't stopped me from buying rifles though.
