I carry my citadel 1911 in a blackhawk level 2 drop leg holster while working. But when I'm off duty I carry either my citadel or my sr1911 in a crossbreed supertuck at 4:00 or blackhawk level 2 owb at 3:30. Off duty I conceal them perfectly even on duty working under cover I conceal perfectly well.

Cane are you from Dade county? I grew up in Broward but moved to Texas for school a couple years ago.

Yes, maybe.
"Carriable" boils down to your preferred firearm vs the level of convenience you value. Are you willing to dress according to the firearm you want to carry? Or would you rather carry something that works comfortably with any attire in any season?
I'm 6ft, 200lbs, and my build would probably fall into the thin/athletic category. I can carry my 5" 1911, BHP, or XDm45 (even bigger than a 1911) if wearing a jacket or the right layering. But I generally carry a micro XDs45. Why? Because I value the convenience of traveling light and wearing whatever I feel like.
It's simply a matter of preference. Carry something that meets your needs and performs well in your hands.

People often ask me, "How many ARs do you have?". Well, that seems to be in a constant state of flux. An honest and concise answer might be something like "six and five-eighths". And to the AR enthusiasts among us, that will make perfect sense.

Just went shooting at markham park and weston arms over the holidays. It'll be a little bit before I get to go back for any considerable time. Usually we go to markham as its almost walking distance from the house.

Anyone ever try the pants or shorts from CCW Breakaways? His videos show him concealing some pretty large guns and some of the customer reviews mention full size 1911s.
