That's weird. I don't have any video personally, but here's something from youtube showing the 1911 platform working even though the person limp wristed the heck out of it. I guess it shows how personal experiences can differ from one another.

They can be tuned to work, but you've got to play with the springs a lot.

Well,

A little lubrication goes a long way apparently!

50 rounds fired, functioned flawlessly. Maybe I was limp wristing it before, as i made sure NOT to this time, but maybe I just forgot to lube it, either way, i made sure to count my ducks and make sure everything was in order before this time, and it worked great.

Thanks for all the help guys, simple solution!
