Well I took it to the range and put 100 rounds of Federal 230gr. fmj through it. It was very accurate, the laser is dead on at about 10 yards. However it did Jam about 10 times. Most of the james were on the last round of the mag where the slide locked back with the last round still int he mag. Dunno if this is a break in period issue or a mag issue. I love it though, just want it to stop jamming.

Just make sure you clean it and keep firing it.

I put another 200 FMJ rounds through my Pro Carry II, which makes it a total of 600 rounds through the gun and I had 2 FTFs, and around 5 or 6 slide lock backs with rounds still in the mag. After the 200 rds of WWB FMJ I tried running 20rds of Winchester 230gr JHP Super Elite Bonded through it and it jammed a few times as well. I have two more boxes of the JHP I will try before trying another brand. The gun was pretty dirty at the time so that could be it. I will shoot the next two boxes first before shooting the FMJ.

I also shot my HK P30 another 300 rounds and it is shooting flawlessly. So it makes the Kimber look like it is not reliable. I won't make a judgement call until at least 1k rounds are through the 1911.
