You sir are more advanced on the fine points of 1911s than most of us. I own and shoot a bunch of them but only in the last couple of yrs got into changing triggers, MSHs, and other parts. I know what guns shoot reliable out of the box, for the most part as all co. have a lemon, but I have not yet acquired your knowledge yet on the finer parts. I'm working on it though.

This is the reason I'm here, to do a knowledge transfer to ANYONE that wants/requests information I am capable/qualified to provide.

The reason the guy next to you at the range is appreciably better than you is his experience/talent/desire to search out the truth!
