Default Fiocchi fmj 45 acp ammo

Just wanted to know the forums thoughts on the Fiocchi brand bulk 45 acp fmj ammo.

How does this ammo work with 1911 pistols (particularly for kimbers and colt xse's).

Is there a particular brand of ammo that one should (or shouldn't) use with 1911's.

Thank you

It's the only ammo I've seen feed relatively reliably in an auto ordnance 1911. (pos btw)
I don't need No stinking signature.

Don't know about Fiocchi in .45, but my wife bought some for her Kahr .380 and while it ran well it was really dirty. My wife had GSR speckled all over her face and arms after a trip to the range. We won't buy it again. I shoot Atlanta Arms ammo in all my STI 1911s and 2011s and it is excellent. Was turned on to it by the guys at STI who use it for their testing. I buy the remanufactured for the range and their new for competition. AA also makes match grade if you are a serious competition shooter.

I've shot a ton of it through assorted 1911's over the years and it performed just fine. I didn't notice it being any dirtier than any other range ammo. That said, I prefer Magtech for range fodder.
