Welcome to the club! 1911-itis is definitely easy to catch, hard to get rid of, and it spreads like wildfire. I bought a Commander a while back, and a buddy bought it right out of my holster. He loves it and carries it daily now. I wasn't without a 1911 for very long, as I picked up a Ruger SR1911. My wife shot it, and immediately wanted one, so for Christmas I bought her a Springfield which she shoots very well...in fact better every time she picks it up.
