Thank you. Yeah when the guy called me I couldn't get over there fast enough. Yeah i wish i knew its entire story. Im sure its a good one. Piece of history. Love it. I'm going to strip it all down this evening and try and locate all the proofs on it. Does anyone know of any good web sites to locate some original grips and a front sight post?

I finally found a ria 1911 tactical today full size at a gun couple miles away hey want $ 528 + tax is this good price ?

You'll want a pair of double diamond checkered walnut grips to be period correct.
