Default Factory mags or fancy name brand?

I love mentioning my new Sig Scorpion 1911!! But this time I have a real reason.

My Sig came with 2 mags, Nice! I want one maybe 2 more.

Now any real difference between the Sig factory or say Chip Mccormick or what not?

The Scorpion has a mag well and needs a plate to go flush. I wonder if a flat plate can be pushed up into the well?

The wilson combat mags are a blessing as well as the chip McCormick power mags. I use both and they both function flawlessly.

My experience w/1911 mags, as long as they are quality they function. I like the WC mags because they are a little easier to load. Not that any of them are difficult, the Wilsons just seem a little smoother.

JMHO.

Quality mags are the only way to go.

Some manufacturers do not use quality mags, and some do.

Fancy names do not necessarily mean quality.

Dodger where you been?

If you never listen to me before, do yourself a favor and pay attention to this old man.

Tripp Research Inc. 1911 Magazines Call Aaron @ Tripp (877.837.9445) and order one. (Tell him canebrake said hi.)

Before you buy any mag, read the following;

Tripp’s Cobra Magazine Test

I bought a kimber pro carry II

1911 and Hollow Points

1911 magazine question, Cane..Anyone
