Factory 1911 Springfield grips?
I have looked everywhere for a set of factory grips for a Springfield Armory 1911. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I asked around at the last gun show and the best response I got was "check at the Houston Show". I am looking for the "cross cannons" on the grips. Thanks for any help.

Have you tried contacting Springfield? I bought about (6) pairs of their "operator" grips when those came out a few years back and got them right from Springfield...

I went to Springfield's website and all I saw were plain cocobolo grips. Nothing with the Springfield logo.

Give them a call. I know a couple of folks that bought crossed cannon grips from Springfield, about $40 if I remember right...

just curious, did you want em for display purposes?? first thing i did when i got my SA 1911-A1 was chuck the wood grips and slap on some pachmyar panels. you can get just about any type of grip panel you can think of at most gun shows if you cant get the one ya want easily from SA.

I just want them for display. I carry an xd 40 so the 1911 just sits in the case waiting to look pretty. I feel ashamed that I bought some factory grips from Springfield about a month ago and haven't put them on. Thanks to everyone for your responses.
