Just an FYI - I am not affiliated in any way, but do get emailed their newsletter....
The latest one states that they are now accepting orders for full size (Gov't) stainless Special Forces model in 9mm.
This will be a very limited run of only 100 pistols made this year by them in 9mm. Get in line quick if you might be wanting one.
This comes up from time to time on this and other gun forums - folks asking if Ed Brown makes a 1911 in 9mm.
They do from time to time but in a very limited basis.

Wish I had the $$ right now. I have two of his Special Forces 1911's and they are great pistols. Hard to argue with his build quality and never had one hickup with either of them.

Just FYI...
I never replied back to this thread because I wasn't really sure if anyone was interested or not.
But the limited run of 100 sold out by 11am on 10/18.
Demand was pretty high as that was like 24 hours or less.

And ps - I'm the same as you...
I have a Kobra and if I had the funds I would have snagged one of these too!!!!!
I purchased an Ed Brown for my brother as a present. All around, it's a very good gun, built solid. My only beef with the gun is it won't feed LSWC. Also, it's more sensitive to crimping on reloads then my Wilson or Nighthawk.
