Heard about this 1911 rumor also....
I think it will be a giant waste of money for any manufacturer who decides to put these into production and a freak of nature that scars the original design. For a rare collector's item, sure. For anything other than that, no.

Hell yeah I would buy one. I might not shoot it much, but I would buy one. It can't kick harder than the .500 S&W (which I have shot)
