Canebrake is a work in progress but dehorning a SS pistol is the easiest with respect to refinishing.

I guess since I really don't CCW all that much I can stand to shave a little off my holster here and there. I want to preserve the lines of the pistol. One day maybe I'll send it off to get frontstrap checkering, dehorning and a matte bead blast finish.

Cane, got a few questions.

1. Where did you get that vice/stand, whatever you would call that. That thing looks like it could make a few projects considerably easier.

2. What holster is that? It's a very nice looking holster.

3. And finally, how did you stipple the front strap? Is there somewhere I can read about the process?

That looks like a vise we use in servicing electronic parts. Rubber mounted on the jaws.

Cane, where did you get that thing?
