After a couple of decades of owning nearly every model Glock, I've sold them all and now my everyday carry piece is a Kimber Super Carry Ultra.

I've owned a Colt Model 80 and an AMT Long Slide in the past but always sided with Glock (Models 36 and 26) for carry.

Then I held the Kimber. OH BABY!

First and second time out on the 50' range shot pie plate size groups which is acceptable to begin with. I don't think I'll get quite as good as my Mark III's 5" groups but then again it's a nail driver and the Kimber is a wrecking ball.

yes, welcome to the world of the 1911! there is no better pistol design made, IMO! i like most of my pistols, but i truly love my 1911's!

Now that you've been bit and gotten addicted to the 1911 there's two thing you need to watch out for, first they seam to mysteriously multiply and drain your bank account, and second is the side affect of the addiction that is "tinkering fever", you'll suddenly get the urge to buy a Dremel, and make it mo-better, this one you need to watch out for, Congratulation.
