which one would you choose. I'm about to order one of the two just want some opinions...

dang, i would hate to have to make that decision! i just looked at the Valor at my LGS this morning and that is one sweet looking pistol. priced at $1795, i might have to wait a while. but really my next 1911 is going to be a Commader sized pistol.

okay my vote for the Valor in black! good luck with your decision!

The commander size is lacking in my small collection, so I'd probably go with the Guardian.
YMMV.
Just to muddy the water even more, have you given the CCO a look? If you plan on carrying a 1911, it deserves a look.

I have handled both. I love the way the guardian feels in my hands. Both great pistols!

The guardian for carry for sure and the valor for all else. Both are nice guns for sure. My choice would be the guardian.
