Default Dan Wesson CBOB

We had a used Dan Wesson come in on consignment at the gunshop where I work part time. I handled it a bit and fell in lust. So after mulling it over for a few hours, I had the manager special order a new one for me. It's already arrived and now I just have to wait for my ten day waiting period to end so I can take that rascal out and shoot it.

So, who's got one and how do you like it?

What happened to the Les Baer?! I am STILL waiting for my range report brother - Did you sell it already for a profit?

Whoa! Sorry J.D. I suffer from CRS disease sometimes.

The Baer shoots like a dream. The first time I took it out I ran 150 rounds of 230gr. ball, 20 rounds of Hornady 200gr. HP's and 20 rounds of Hornady 230gr. FMJTC's through it. Early on it had one FTB and very late it had one FTF.

I had it out again last weekend and put around 200 mixed rounds through without a single failure. It also makes one ragged hole at 7, and 15 yards.

It's an absolutely sweet pistol.

LOL - That's okay brother, I understand the disease. I am similiarly afflicted... LOL

Sounds like you got yourself one fine piece of steel there.. If it shoots half as good as they feel, I am sure you are MOST happy with the purchase...

Good to hear. Many thanks for the report. Get some pictures posted if you get a chance. I beautiful piece like that deserves some press.

That's a good looking gun right there.... Congratulations on a fine purchase. You can will that one to your kids and it will still be head and shoulders above the common fodder that is put out there.

I'm lusting after one too... though I can't decide between it and a PM-9 (Dan Wesson 9mm fullsize 1911)..

*SIGH*

Decisions, decisions.

BTW, the pics aren't showing up. Post em again!
