Default colt series 80 mustang .380 Value?

Have a friend who is wanting to sell a Colt series 80 government .380 stainless. Gun is in good shape and hasnt been fired much. Anyone know what a fair price would be? Thanks so much.

Matt

A Mustang is different than a Government .380.
Which is it that you have?

The gun reads series 80 government. The grip has the mustang on it and it is all original. Saw the factory box and papers and it says mustang. Not sure she would be up for a trade. I think she is trying to get an idea of value for selling it only. I will ask her though.

I looked it up and colt made two different pistols in the .380 with series 80; the pocketlite and the government like you said. Both are 3" bbl.. i believe. They are both worth around $350 in excellent condition. $275 if just "good".

Just a example = When in doubt check auctions to see what BIDS (not asking prices) are in the real world-

value is subjective. an item is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
