Default Colt New Agent

Looked at a slightly used New Agent today. Look barely fired or carried, and it had big dot night sights on it. The shop was asking $925. Just want to know if that's a good deal or no. Thanks guys.

I thought the new agent was defined by a sight notch running the length of the slide. If someone put night sights on it, that kind of takes away from its character (maybe even the value). That being said, there are alot of good 1911 carrys you can get for that kind of money.

Yea that's what I thought too, but it definitely said new agent on the slide. I do agree that it's a bit over priced, all their 1911 seem that way but everything else isn't to bad.

Are you set on a colt or are you open to other 1911 compacts. I can keep an eye out for you.

If they had put night sights on a defender like mine I would say ok if it was new. But that is a little high for a new agent. And night sights on a new agent is just weird.

Did some more research on it. It's actually a Talo distributer special addition. Here's one at Buds

That happens when gift shopping. lemme browse the distributors tomorrow. Ill see what I can dig up.

BTW talo doing a night sighted version of the new agent is just strange and still pricy for what it is.
