Gun stores don't carry everything. Have you ever thought to ask the people at the counter. They can usually order anything!

Love Colt, have lots of them, but also own a SA EMP. Beautiful, well built and the SA CS is second to NONE. Colt has not always had that reputation.

BTW, the EMP was built around the 9mm cartridge (well actually the 45GAP - same length) as apposed to a 45ACP modified to shoot 9mm. Just a thought.

My vote is for the EMP, a model designed for the 9mm from the ground up, not a modified 1911 for the 9mm.
Just sayin.

Out of sudden i got an email in-stock notification from Kentucky Gun Co.
They have the Colt Defender 9mm in stock.
So i took the jump.. order it without hesitation. I don't want to regret it. Paid it $950.82 shipped including insurance.
Thank god i have the money right now, been selling some of my firearms related stuffs locally.

So guys.. will i regret it? This is kinda the first Colt and $1K handgun i purchased.

Updated*
Few mins after i placed the order and received an email of order confirmation, it gone to out of stock.
Did i get it? Or they just had one or a few?
