Colt 1911 Wiley Clapp TALO Commander
I saw one on a post here somewhere and fell in love with it. Bad news is the only place I can find them is on gunbroker.
Any hot tips for a fellow shooter?

I believe that's the one I saw in a post..... If you don't mind my asking, what did it cost to have the frame bobbed?
I even put one of my AR's up for sale on GB in hopes of raising enough cash for it. I could buy it outright, but somehow spending $ 1400.00 on a handgun feels like a bit much. I'd feel better selling one. Damn conscience..........

It's not bobbed. That's a Smith and Alexander Arched MSH w/mag-guide model GMAB - Gov't Model Arched Blue. (<$80) It eliminates that point that prints when concealed for a whole lot less than having the gun bobbed.
If you dont want the mag-guide the Arched MSH alone is less than $40.
Call Alan Smith (or Barbara) 888-722-1911 and tell them what gun it's going on and they will fix you up! (GOOD PEOPLE)

All I know is I absolutely love mine. It's super accurate and just feels good. Look and look. You'll find one. Patience is required for this sort of thing. If you have patience. Lol.
It is the one in the middle. And I love it. That is all.

Cane, does the arched msh change how the gun points enough to make point of impact shift? I've wanted one on mine forever, but I'm afraid it won't point the same anymore. Comments?

You'll be fine. You'll never regret that gun. You may regret selling the AR. Save some money and keep both.
