Colt 1911 and STI 1911 pics and short review
First of all, i just made the executive decision to trade my glock 22 and springer XD plus 200 bucks for a brand new Colt Commander 1911. Took the Colt and STI Spartan 3.0 to the range and ran 300 rounds through both without a problem. No FTF's or FTE's whatsoever. Only complaint is about the STI's sights, which aren't even 3 dot, just plain black. Didn't affect it's accuracy especially when your sight alignment and picture is correct. It's also my daily carry which I carry in a Galco IWB holster. The Colt's accuracy was impeccable from 5-20yds. It's so lightweight but still has a chunky 1911 feel that i love. This is my new favorite pistol and I will hold onto it until they bury me, trust me.
