JD and I (and I think Bear) have dealt with CCG and their 460 Rowland kits. I can't say how great this company is with their customer service.

I would believe a Jim Clark Jr., Caspian framed custom would be a flawless running 1911. It's a tad expensive but worth every penny. Just look at the parts used and it is hand built. OBTW, their "Meltdown" carry treatment is off-the-hook!

Call Renee Tyson at (888)458-4126 and she can answer any questions you may have. Tell her canebrake said hi and to get back on the forum and post some CCG greetings. We miss her!

The Clark Meltdown will be a 1911 like no other you have seen or held!

And Renee is a customer service rep like none you have ever dealt with!

Renee knows her stuff. Keep her phone number on speed dial. She is an incredible source of 1911 knowledge.

Congratulations and keep us in the loop!

Yeah, Clark makes the most melted 1911 ever. Almost overboard with it, but they look cool to me.

Your wait will be long, but you will be pleased when it arrives. Clark does great work and always has. It is not that it takes that long to do the work, but the backlog of orders ahead of you is long..Be patient, Clark Custom is second to none.....................
