I haven't used a Ciener but I had a Kimber kit for a time. The kit I had shot very well with good quality ammo. From what I've read, the Ciener is a good unit - but customer service can be a real hassle.

Mags for any of the .22 conversions are fairly expensive and a tad fragile. Very few of the kits have last round hold open as well...

I have one, it uses any ammo, federal, rem and win so far. Easy to install. Sights adjust nicely. I don't reload pistol anymore and 22s are a lot cheaper than $25. FMJ. I bought mine mainly for trigger practice. I shoot trap and skeet and the trigger action is much different.
