There is a lot of custom work on the guns. Mark Morris is a well known, high-end gunsmith. Without a full descriptions of the guns, it's hard to tell how much work went into them. For example, the hard chrome pistol has a compensator and it' still a 5-inch gun. This means the slide has been cut down and the barrel fitted to the compensator and slide. It's probably not a stock barrel so it has been hard fit to the gun. The rails may have been welded up and then recut to tighten up the slide to frame fit.

The gun also has engraving on the top of the slide - not my thing - but it's not free. The checkering looks like it's either 25 or 30 lpi. Sounds to me like the guy selling the guns is trying to get all of his money out of them plus some because they're custom Mark Morris guns.

The guns wouldn't be my choice in custom builds so I wouldn't pay the price he wants for them - but, I'm sure they're very nice and worth the money if you like the build features.

BUT...

There's a regional forum in my area that has some robust local classifieds (so no FFL required). There is a fellow selling three Mark Morris 1911's They are all selling for $5000 to $7000.

What could possibly make a gun worth such prices? It is pretty and all, but not bling bling.

Have you ever looked at a Ted Yost rubbed 1911?

"Rubbed" just means that a gunsmith touched/tuned/worked on the 1911, as opposed to factory-produced. That could mean anything from a Springfield TRP up to a gun that is taken under the wing of a renowned 'smith for a few weeks' worth of work.
