adjustable rear sight, fiber optic front sight, longer and wider thumb safety, extended beavertail grip safety w/ checkered raised thumb pad, checkered MSH, Commander style hammer, match grade trigger, front and rear slide cocking serrations, front grip serrations, match grade barrel and bushing and agressive checkered grips with magazine release groove.

the price difference between the R1 and the R1 Enhanced is worth it IMO.

THIS is what I'm waiting for, I'm not buying anything until I get this in my hand.

I love my Springfield GI. Never a jam accurate as hell. Love the WWII look. Polished barrel seen through ejection. Wish it was comfortable for me as my conceal carry. 500$

Well I've narrowed my choice down to the Remington r1. Now I just have to choose enhanced or not

Get the enhanced or you'll regret it.

SR1911 is definitely a great pistol. I've had mine for a few weeks now and I have absolutely no complaints. I paid ~$675 for mine and I consider it a steal at that price. It may be the only 1911 in my collection that does not end up having any parts swapped out for aftermarket upgrades.
