Default Changed Grip Panels

I changed out the Grips on the RIA Compact and everyone enjoys pictures. Thought I would share.

I like 'em, so what you think?

Here's a before and some afters.

the new ones are a big improvement but you coulda done better with pink laminate. the original smooth ones were pretty fugly.

Shi - In that last picture, is there a part of your magazine well that is broken??

Might a suggest a new mainspring housing and combination beveled mag well, with a little fille work, if that be the case.

I think you need some customized grips. You are WAY to original to have just a normal set of grips on your pistol.

There's a guy on another forum (I know....sacrilege right) that is laser engraving custom wood grips for 1911's. I thought about having some made just for some of you guys once I have the $. I know just what Shi's would say too!
