Really? Wilson is amazing pistol. But at the price your paying you better be in a competition shoot that is going to pay it off. I've shot $350 1911s that shot and put rounds on a target very well. Not saying Wilson is bad at all but not everyone wants to spend that king of $. It's way out of the $800 range for sure.

Agreed. However that is IMHO... I did just see a Sig Nightmare go for 805 on gunbroker a few minutes ago

My price point for firearms is whatever I can afford to have sitting in a police evidence room. I can't see carrying a $3000 gun for self defense knowing if I ever have to use it it may end up gone forever.

I picked up the SR1911 for something like $650 new , couldn't be more happy with the gun or price

Several friends who have handled / shot it said you couldn't ask for more gun for the price and I couldn't agree more. Shot at least 1000 rounds thru it with no problems.

So happy I'll get the commander soon, but first I need get my reloading press and supply's first.
