Default bought another one!

well i couldn't leave well enough alone! swore i wasn't going to buy another gun until after the first of the year and get Christmas out of the way. well i heard it calling, and like a kid in a candy store, i had the owner of the gun store let me look at a SA Loaded 45 Micro Compact. NIB, for $1215+tax. i was wanting to get a 1911 type pistol in 9mm, but this Micro Compact just kept calling my name! well after holding it and looking at it for over an hour, i just went and did it, i put it on layaway until next month. i was also going to buy a SA Range Officer, but it will have to wait now until after the first of the year. i will post some pictures later on when i go and pick it up. i hope all you are very proud of yourselves, when i get on this forum i just want to go out and buy another gun! this place is like sending an alcoholic to the bar to get help!

The only thing worse than not having a 1911 is not having enough 1911's.

You bought the gun I just recently ordered. Was told by the dealer and Springfield rep it will be possibly six months before the gun will arrive. I am working a trade so I am not shopping around because I know they are out there. Just remember that you are always two guns short of never enough.

my gun dealer ordered four of them, three months ago, but only received two of them and the other two are 2-4 months away from delivery. i hate waiting that long for a gun. you're right, always two guns from enough! how do you explain that one to your wife? i have so many guns, she would never notice another one! many in the house, usually a couple in the trucks, so i figured a long time ago, the more i had, the easier to sneak another one in.

well update to the SA Loaded Micro Compact 45. i finally had the chance to go to the gun store and pick it up. wow, this pistol is awesome. got it home and couldn't wait to try it out, and was i impressed! i have never shot a compact 1911 in 45, and was curious as to what the recoil was going to be like. well i have owned and shot many full sized 1911's over the years, and it was a little more than a full size 1911, but still very controllable. this pistol is very impressive and i really think i am going to like it the more i shoot it.

i will post some pictures later when i bring my camera home from work. now i need more 45 ammo!
