A friend had a Para P14 that had Bomars on it, they're overrated.

Default BOMAR's

a great BIG target sight specifically designed for Bulleseye Shooters.

Not a good carry/CCW sight as those big Sharp Square ears tear up clothing, jackets...and when you run the slide with your hand to reload or clear a jam/misfeed...will make NASTY cuts on your hand.

An OLD but proven design. Other adjustable sights are now available with more of a tactical design for non-snag carry.
