Default Barrel link "fittment"

SO I have an RIA 1911, and I just noticed that the slide stop is kind of loose in the Barrel link
Is it supposed to be tight in there?
I searched "barrel link" here and didn't find anything, nor did google help much.
I'm planning to order some stuff from Brownells in the early-ish morning tomorrow but I was planning to hold off on the safety, Barrel link, and slide stop til my next order( this check is sear, Oxpho blue, disconnector, Hammer strut(and pin), mainspring housing "rebuild kit", recoil spring and GI guide rod.

A little looseness is okay. The main thing is the lockup. The lugs at the bottom of the barrel push the barrel into battery. If the link to too tight on the slide lock, problems develop.

Thank's Dan( I hope/think that's your name)
You're always the first to respond as I figure some of these things out.
By the way, After tuning my extractor, I found it is remarkably close to the stock RIA one, which tells me that they spent some time making this gun "good"
The slide's pretty tight on there too. I can't wait to get it "perfect"
