I have five and not sure when I bought the first one but it was before I was married and I have been married 50 years and I'm only 39 now!

Well, I'm 62 now, was zero the day I was born, so I guess my average age is 31. Have had mine since I was 28.

First time I shot a 1911 was in Nam. didn't train with it back in the states. The gun was probably from WWII. I learned to take it apart, and clean it in the office. The flap holster was probably as old.
later I got a new issue .45. I shot between the both of them probably a hundred rounds but not in anger. I carried a S&W .38 snub nose and then a Colt model 32 .38, snub nose, I believe, after some lifted the Smith, given me by a CID Officer. Sine then I've owned just the one Delta Eltie in 10mm. Probably shot it two hundred times. Don't shoot it much now as supposedly the frame is weak.
The second one I had in Nam shot very well. The first one grouped about like a shot gun.
I'm 67 going on 19.
