I was always reading and trying to find out all I could about this great hero when I was I kid. The bad thing a have forgotten most of it. Glen Ford was another that I was fascinated with.

Hey Josh just to let you know, Willie is a big fan of Audie and Scott Turner worked with Audie on several songs that were made popular and sung by many notable singers. That's why he has some of Audie's things there. If anyone gets a chance please go to the American Cotton/Audie Murphy Museum in Greenville Texas. They are the nicest people ever. Every year there is an Audie Murphy Days celebration to honor him.Check out a wonderful website dedicated to all things Audie. Many are over 50 as you mention but many are not. His legacy lives on in the US as well as all over the world.
thanks for the nice pix, they are just as I remember as my friend and I went across country from calif to Arlington to see all things Audie. We are big fans.
