Default Any help on a Imperial Defence Industries' English made 1911 ???

Found this on a deactivated site in UK. Can,t seem to find much info on the webs about it, so thought I would ask the experts.

1911 A1 .45 ACP Auto
Manufactured by Imperial Defence Industries here in the UK, this is a really nice version of the Colt 1911. Produced completely to milspec standards with a very good fit and finish and a smooth action. In near mint condition, this item comes complete with one magazine, GI type plastic grips and 8 inert .45ACP rounds.

It looks pretty good, but I haven't the foggiest idea. However, I'd bet it's very expensive for a paperweight.

That is a damnable shame for a non shooter. C'mon over here and you can shoot whatever we have. Maybe at the FTF Meet & Greet next Summer.

Imperial Defence Industries is an outfit in the U.K. and their 1911's are made in Vietnam.

Is the firearm functional if you had live rounds? Or does it have to be inoperable for you to legally have it?
