Default Ammunition for the 1911 Over the years.

There are some rounds that are well known that have been run on the 1911 platform, but did you know that there were others?

.22Lr
9mm
.38 Super
.38 AMU
.38 Special wad cutter
.38/45 (a .45ACP casing necked down to accept .357 bullets)
.40S&W
10mm
.45ACP
.45 Super
.460 Rowland

This list is not complete, but just "food for thought"

There was also a 9.8mm Auto- developed for testing in Europe- 1910, 1911. I have ONE round. Slightly smaller version of the I911.
