Exactly, I just can't see having a foreign made 1911,lol. I do have a springfield xdsc though. It's not like xd's are an american legend either.

Think a kimber crimson carry would be better than getting the xdm like I originally planned?

I would rather take the $300 extra that your going to spend on Laser Grips and get some ammo to practice with. Just my opinion.

The crimson carry comes with laser grips. I can find laser grips, I can't find ammo.

I really like the Springfield Champion Operator for under a grand. This could very well be my next purchase.
